Where I've been and where I'm headed
I was born in Vietnam and have been living in the United States for more than 10 years. I started out as an exchange student in Granbury, Texas. Since then, I’ve been to schools in three different states and accumulated more than three years of work experience in the financial industry. Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, I am currently located in San Francisco with a Master’s degree in Business Analytics.
Interests & Everything Beautiful
I am a self-identified creative mind trapped inside a mathematical brain. I have a fascination with numbers and computer programs and enthralled by the power of big data. To keep myself from going haywire, I find refuge in my creative side from time to time. My artistic adventures include singing in choruses, pencil sketching, acting in plays and musicals, and most of all, baking to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Anything & Everything that I gravitate towards
I am an experienced analyst with strong interests in healthcare, cryptocurrency, sustainability, insurance and financial technology. My past projects ranges from financial modeling (fractals application and Monte Carlo simulation) to environmental science (earthquake-related loss analysis). With a strong background in math and finance, I was naturally drawn to those research areas. This year, I acquired more tools (Python and R) that further reinforce my ability to do more in-depth analysis at a higher speed. With the world in a global health crisis, I became more interested in healthcare. My past hackathon (Code for Venezuela) and featured project (COVID-19) with groups of Hult students demonstrates such interest. In recent years, I've become intrigued by cryptocurrencies, the mechanics of blockchains, and sustainable materials (Mycelium).
